Mitchell T. Tracy brings decades of financial, military, and leadership experience to his candidacy for Clark County Treasurer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management, with minors in Administration of Justice and Psychology, providing a strong foundation in fiscal responsibility, governance, and human behavior.
Mr. Tracy has over 22 years of accounting and financial experience, managing and overseeing billions of dollars across commercial, automotive, residential, property, fatality, and injury claims. His career reflects a consistent commitment to accuracy, accountability, and ethical stewardship of public and private funds.
In addition to his financial expertise, Mr. Tracy has dedicated more than a decade to mentoring youth as a junior high and high school boys’ basketball coach, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and personal responsibility.
Mr. Tracy proudly served his country for over a decade in the U.S. Army Reserves, U.S. Air Force Reserves, and the Army National Guard. His service includes work on the Stealth Fighter Program and holding both Secret and Top Secret security clearances. His military career exemplifies leadership, integrity, respect, accountability, trust, and honor.
As a business owner for five years, Mr. Tracy understands firsthand the challenges facing taxpayers, families, and small businesses. His priorities reflect a firm belief in fiscal restraint, constitutional governance, and public safety.
